Bought 2 for 2 grandson's 2019 Christmas.

Opened 2 Peppy Puppies with the intention of installing batteries. Could not open battery compartments per instructions on compartments. I feared that I might brake the plastic so I checked the web site for any helpful instructions. Thanks Ace for your review. Small screwdriver did the trick. Two 4 year old grandsons will love their Peppy Puppies.

LIKE THIS SO MUCH I'M ORDERING ANOTHER!

Had to use small screwdriver to twist at top where you push cover down to open. Once the batteries were in the toy it came alive and performed as advertised. I bought this as a Xmas gift for my sister's old dog. He doesn't walk too good anymore and lies about. Hope this will bring a gleam in his eyes and a waggle to his tail. Yes, I bought another one for myself.
