Good size, bit unwieldy to move

This is fairly heavy and therefore a little unwieldy to move around, but I'm pretty strong, so I can move it myself unless I have to fit through a doorway. The legs do tend to hang straight down while you're moving it, so I've had to learn to kick the legs out with my feet or knees before I set it down somewhere. Kind of a pain, but doable. I love the little drawers and that they pull all the way out, though it does make the side pieces a little flimsy when you put your weight down on it while leaning over the puzzle. Overall great product, nice look, but just has some quirks that you have to work with.

Love the quality of this Standard Puzzle Plateau Lounger

Haven't decided if I will keep it or return it for a different table. Almost too heavy and without a handle it is difficult for me to pick it up to move it. Years ago I bought the heavy cardboard puzzle Board that is the same size as this wood one but it doesn't have legs but it has the 4 drawers.. I was wanting the wood one because I thought I could sit in my recliner and the legs would fit inside the seat of my chair but I should have paid more attention to the dimensions before purchasing.

Perfect !

I bought this for my 12-year-old daughter. She loves to sit on the floor and do puzzles so this was the perfect height. We did buy the standard size which is slightly smaller than jumbo . She usually does 300 to 500 piece puzzles.

A really excellent idea, but the execution falls short

This is an absolutely great idea! The largest surface at our house to put together a puzzle is always the kitchen or dining room table, but when it's time to eat, that's a problem! This somewhat easily allows a work in progress to be moved from location to location. The biggest issue is the floppy legs. They need to somehow lock in place. The initial reaction to picking this up to move it is to pick it up from the shorter sides. The problem with this is two-fold: First of all, it's heavy, and the width of the item is almost wider than our arm spans, making it difficult to pick it up without tilting it toward oneself to get a better grasp on it. Secondly, the legs do not stay folded under. As soon as you fold the legs under and start to pick it up, because of the design of the legs, they fall right back down again. This does not allow you to lay the piece down flat somewhere else without someone else reaching under it to fold the legs down under again. Also, if you use this item on the bed, if you attempt to move it sideways, or you move under it, one or both of the legs fall down, tipping the table top. The plastic cover that should keep the puzzle protected arrived wrinkled and has not flattened itself out at room temperature. Therefore, the cover does not lay securely over the puzzle. I think that this cover might need to be of a heavier material in order for it to lie flat against the puzzle. Lastly, be aware that this item cannot be returned free of charge. You will have to pay the shipping to return it, and the item is definitely much heavier than I anticipated it to be. It wasn't hard to determine that the shipping cost to return it would have been prohibitive. Therefore, we will keep it and just see whether we can jury rig a locking system for the legs and find a heavier material to cover the actual puzzle surface. It just wasn't worth trying to return it since it is too heavy for me to comfortably carry by myself even out of the box.
