This amazing and mysterious liquid and crystal filled storm glass device is used for predicting the weather up to two days in advance. You'll see changes in the crystal formations for fair weather (clear liquid), rainy weather (murky liquid), thunderstorms (crystals at the top), cloudy skies with snow (large flaky crystals) and even windy weather (threads of crystals). Switch on the LED lighted base and watch the crystal formations glow in shades of red, blue and green. Globe measures 4" in diameter and stands 6" high on base. Requires 3 AAA batteries, not included.

I like it

I do enjoy this but don't care for the quick changing lights. I wish you could pick a color and it would stay that color instead of quick changing color. The globe doesn't sit in base well. I am not sure but I think there is supposed to be a little bit more liquid in it. I worry about globe falling out of base
